Streamcation Code of Conduct
Last updated July 31, 2026
Streamcation is 24 creators, 4 days, 3 nights, and a whole lot of cameras. To keep it fun, safe, and content-packed for everyone, every attendee agrees to the rules below. Breaking them can get you removed from the event — no refund.
Eligibility & Age
- Streamcation is an 18+ event. Every attendee must be at least 18 years old on the event dates.
- Where alcohol is available, it is strictly for those of legal drinking age (21+).
Respect Everyone
- Treat all creators, guests, staff, and venue employees with respect.
- Zero tolerance for harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind — including based on race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, or body.
- No unwanted physical contact. Consent matters, always.
Content & Consent
- This is a content event — expect cameras. But respect boundaries: if someone asks not to be filmed, or asks you to take something down, honor it.
- Get someone's OK before posting content that shows them in a private, compromising, or embarrassing way.
- No filming in bedrooms, bathrooms, or changing areas, and respect any "no camera" zones or moments.
- Don't share other attendees' personal info, private conversations, or the venue location without permission.
Safety First
- No violence, threats, intimidation, or weapons.
- Follow all venue rules and organizer/staff instructions, including pool and water-safety rules.
- Don't put yourself or anyone else at risk for a clip. No stunt is worth an injury.
Substances
- Follow the law — illegal drugs are not permitted.
- If alcohol is available, only those of legal drinking age (21+) may drink, and everyone is expected to drink responsibly. Never pressure anyone to drink.
- Being intoxicated to the point of endangering yourself or others, or disrupting the event, is not okay.
Property & the Venue
- Treat the venue and everyone's belongings with care.
- You're responsible for any damage you cause and may be charged for it.
- Clean up after yourself in shared spaces.
Competitions & Collabs
- Play fair — good sportsmanship, no cheating, no sabotage.
- Hype each other up. The goal is fire content for everyone, not just you.
Reporting Issues
- If you experience or witness anything that breaks this code, tell an organizer right away. We'll take it seriously and handle it discreetly.
Consequences
- Violations may result in a warning or immediate removal from the event at the organizers' discretion — without a refund, and you may be responsible for your own travel home.
Media Release
- By attending, you consent to being photographed and filmed as part of the event, and to that footage being used to promote Streamcation. Have concerns? Talk to the organizers before the event.
Assumption of Risk
- Streamcation includes physical activities — pool and water activities, sports and tournaments, competitions, challenges, travel between locations, late nights, and other activities that may be added or changed.
- These activities carry inherent risks, including risks that can't be fully anticipated: serious injury, illness, property damage, and in extreme cases death.
- You are responsible for knowing your own limits, your medical conditions, and your fitness to participate. Sit anything out at any time.
- You are responsible for your own travel, personal belongings, and insurance (health, travel, and gear).
Liability Waiver & Release
- Attendance is voluntary. Every attendee must sign the liability waiver and release below before participating.
Liability Waiver & Release

Read this carefully — it affects your legal rights. By agreeing, you accept the terms below as a condition of attending Streamcation.
- Voluntary participation: I am attending Streamcation and taking part in all activities entirely of my own free will, and I am 18 or older.
- Assumption of all risk: I knowingly accept all risks of attending, known and unknown, foreseeable and unforeseeable — including but not limited to bodily injury, drowning or water-related incidents, sports and competition injuries, slips and falls, vehicle and transportation incidents, food allergies or illness, alcohol-related incidents, exposure to illness or disease, weather events, acts of other attendees or third parties, theft or loss of property, emotional distress, reputational harm from content posted by others, and death.
- Release and waiver: I release, waive, and discharge Streamcation, its organizers, hosts, staff, volunteers, speakers, sponsors, venues, property owners, vendors, contractors, and their owners, officers, employees, agents, heirs, and assigns (the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, or causes of action of any kind, whether known or unknown, arising out of or related in any way to my attendance or participation — including claims based on the ordinary negligence of the Released Parties, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Covenant not to sue: I agree not to sue or bring any claim against the Released Parties for anything covered by this release.
- Indemnification: I agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from my own acts, omissions, content, or violation of the Code of Conduct.
- Medical consent: In an emergency, I authorize organizers to arrange medical treatment or transport on my behalf, and I am solely responsible for all resulting medical costs.
- Property: The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, including cameras and gear. I am responsible for damage I cause to the venue or others' property.
- Media and content release: I grant a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to photograph, film, record, and use my name, likeness, voice, handle, and content captured at the event for any promotional, commercial, or archival purpose, with no compensation owed to me.
- Changes to the event: Schedule, activities, speakers, venue, and lineup may change or be canceled. Tickets are non-refundable except where the organizers state otherwise in writing.
- Conduct removal: I understand I may be removed from the event for violating the Code of Conduct, without refund, and I am responsible for my own travel home.
- Governing law: This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
- Severability: If any part of this waiver is found unenforceable, the rest stays in full force and effect.
- Entire agreement: This is the complete agreement between me and the Released Parties regarding liability, and it binds my heirs, family, and legal representatives.
I have read this waiver in full, I understand it, and I agree to it freely. I understand I am giving up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue.
By checking "I agree" on your application, you confirm you've read, understood, and agree to follow this Code of Conduct and the liability waiver below.
